Bello Machre Announces Major Sponsors For Fundraising Event – Every Step Counts 2010

 

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MARYLAND: Bello Machre proudly announces it raised over $110,000 at Every Step Counts 2010. The event benefits children and adults with developmental disabilities served throughout Central Maryland. Dr. Robert Ireland, President and Chief Executive Officer, stated, “What a great day for Bello Machre and the folks we serve. With the help from our friends, families, business associates, and employees – Every Step Counts 2010 was by far the biggest and most successful event ever.” 

 

The event’s Premier Sponsors, Absolute Fire Protection of Severna Park, Maryland, and Dimensional Health Care Associates of Owings Mills, Maryland, each contributed $5,000. Very special thanks to Dan Mathias and Larry Cate of Absolute Fire Protection and Denise and Howard Schuffman of Dimensional Health Care who without hesitation stepped up with these very generous donations.

 

Absolute Fire Protection, entering its 21st year of business, is a fire sprinkler contractor serving the Baltimore/Washington metropolitan area. Located in Severna Park, Maryland, Absolute Fire offers residential, industrial, and commercial sprinkler services. With a highly trained staff and licensed professional engineers, Absolute Fire provides services including new construction design and installation, inspections, fabrication and retrofitting systems, and 24-hour maintenance services.

 

Dimensional Health Care Associates provides nurse case management and delegated nursing services to individuals with developmental disabilities. In addition, Dimensional offers ongoing and mandatory (CMT, OSHA, CPR, etc.)  training for direct care staff as well as skills necessary to care for individuals.

Bello Machre, founded in 1972, is a not-for-profit agency that provides loving care, homes, and support to hundreds of individuals and families within our community. The agency employs over 300 skilled people and serves 175 people in 54 community homes throughout Anne Arundel County, Maryland. Bello Machre also provides help and support to more than 150 individuals and families in their own homes. The Ray of Hope Program provides annual grants to help individuals and families obtain respite care, specialized summer camp, physical therapy, and specialized equipment.
